ADMINISTRATION ACCORDING TO THE SAPPURISADHAMMA FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE NONG BUA LAMPHU PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

            The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the administration of school administrators; 2) to study the level of school administration according to the Sappurisadhamma (qualities of a good man) of the school administrators; 3) to propose the guideline for the development of school administrators according to the Sappurisadhamma of the school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2. This study was carried out by means of mixed-method research. The samples used in this study were 285 teachers in schools under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2. This sample size was determined by using the method of R.V. Krejcie and D.W. Morgan and simple sampling with a lottery method. The instrument used was a five-rating scale questionnaire. Also, the researcher interviewed key informants, including five academics. The tool used was an interview form for a qualitative study.

               The research results were as follows:

               1) For the administration of school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2, overall, teachers have opinions about the administration of the school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2 at the highest level. Considering each aspect, it was at the highest level in all aspects sorted from highest mean to lowest mean: general administration, budget administration, academic administration, and personnel administration, respectively. Therefore, personnel management should be improved.

               2) For the school administration, according to the Sappurisadhamma of the school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2, overall, teachers have opinions about the administration of the school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2 at the highest level. In considering each aspect, all aspects were at the highest level, sorted from highest mean to lowest mean: Mattaññuta (moderation), Puggalaññutā (knowing the individual), Parisaññutā (knowing the assembly), Kāluññuta (knowing the proper time), Attaññutā (knowing oneself), Dhammaññutā (knowing the law), Atthaññutā (knowing the meaning).

               3) The guideline for the development of school administrators according to the Sappurisadhamma of the school administrators under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area 2 in all four aspects was that the administrators could integrate the Seven Sappurisadhamma to develop the school administration.
