A MODEL OF ONLINE INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY, SRILANCHANG CAMPUS

Abstract
The objective of the research, based upon the mixed methods research (MMR), was to study the model of online instruction of Mahamakut Buddhist University, Srilanchang Campus. The research process was divided into 2 phases: 1) ththe first phrase, consisting of two steps: the first step on the lecturers’ preparation of online instruction, and the second step on the students’ preparation of online learning, was related to the study of online learning preparation in Mahamakut Buddhist University, Srilanchang Campus, and 2) the second phrase was involved with the online instructional development of Mahamakut Buddhist University, Srilanchang Campus, consisting of four steps: the first step of the study of online instructional model, the second step on organization for online instructional development, the third step on preparation of online instruction, and the fourth step on the study of online instructional satisfaction.
The research findings revealed that (1) the consistency of content preparation, instructional media preparation, and measurement and assessment preparation was found to be at the highest level, (2) the demonstration of online instructional was found to be overall at a high level, (3) the demonstration of system entry and the student’s sending – receiving system was found to be overall at a high level, and (4) the students’ satisfaction with online instruction of Mahamakut Buddhist University, Srilanchang Campus was found to be overall at a high level.
