BUDDHISM-BASED POLITICAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract

               The political communication of a leader to the people in the current society was an important tool for development of the society and the nation because, at the time, the political communication in Thailand had several problems from the messengers as some political leaders at various levels were without communication skills. Such a problem was derived from some limitations. For example, the message sender was without a skill to retrieve real or correct information, the process of message sending was not clearly distinct, the communication equipment was not up-to-date, and the message receiver was unable to access what the message sender sent. Therefore, it was a reason for the author to demonstrate this academic article, of which the objective was to inform several groups with duties or responsibilities on political communication to the public to recognize coexistence under Thailand’s constitutional monarchy, to adhere the Buddhist principles in political communication, and to be with honesty in order to maintain the political participation. In addition, it was aimed at utilization of political communication as the basis for business operations in social, economic and political sustainability.
