Conditions Problem And Development Guidelines On Management Information System In Thamaka School Consortium Under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi

Abstract

This research aims to study the conditions problem and development guidelines on management  information system  in Thamaka school  consortium  under  the  secondary educational service area office  Kanchanaburi.

The samples consisted of 135 school administrators and teachers in Thamaka school consortium under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office  Kanchanaburi. Obtained by stratified random sampling according to Thamaka school consortium. And 8 keys informants for group discussion obtained by purposive sampling. The tools used in this research is rating Scale questionnaire with content Validity of 1.00 and reliability of 0.98 and a group discussion form the statistical used were percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The findings were as follows:

1. The conditions of management information system in Thamaka school consortium under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi. both overall and individual were found at a high level. In order regarding arithmetic means from maximum to minimum were as follow; information collection, information verification, information processing, data and information presentation, and data and information storage.
2. The problem of management information system in Thamaka school consortium under the secondary educational service area office Kanchanaburi. both overall and individual were found at a low level. In order regarding arithmetic means from maximum to minimum were as follow; information collection, information verification, data and information storage and information processing.
3. Guidelines for developing information systems for management of educational institutions in the ThaMaka Campus, Kanchanaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office, as follows: 3.1) Information collection, Instructors and school directors should meet to discuss plans, with an emphasis on the instructors' capacity to follow directions and their understanding of how to handle the investigation information system. And inspire cooperation from school staff in the gathering of data. Establish a resource to gather data on schools. 3.2) Information verification, School directors and the information systems department ought to collaborate to ascertain the extent of duties and accountabilities pertaining to the examination of data collected in educational institutions. Auditors need to have specific expertise in data verification. And work together to oversee and monitor data verification and consistency between old and new data. 3.3) Information processing, educational institution administrators should determine the relationship of data. And designate people responsible for data processing. 3.4) Presentation of data and information, data and information should be used in personnel development. And coordinate with other agencies. and incorporate it into decision-making in policy formulation. 3.5)Data and information storage, educational institutions should systematically store data in a format appropriate to data and information. And back up data and information to prevent damage. and has a data and information security system.
