บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้ศึกษาตัวบทบันทึกความทรงจำพากย์อังกฤษของนักเขียนสตรีเกาหลีเหนือพลัดถิ่นสองเรื่องคือ In Order to Live (2015) ของยอนมี ปาร์ค และ The Girl with Seven Names (2015) ของฮยอนซอ อี โดยมุ่งวิเคราะห์การนำเสนออัตลักษณ์ของผู้แปรพักตร์ชาวเกาหลีเหนือในรูปแบบวรรณกรรมประเภทบันทึกความทรงจำ จากการศึกษาพบว่าบันทึกความทรงจำนำเสนออัตลักษณ์ของผู้เล่าผ่านกระบวนการเชื่อมโยงตัวตนในอดีตเข้ากับตัวตนในปัจจุบันของผู้เล่า การเล่าเรื่องทำให้ผู้เล่ากลับไปทบทวนอดีตและแสดงตัวตนที่พัฒนาแล้วในปัจจุบันผ่านสามกระบวนการคือ การยืนยันการมีอยู่ของผู้เล่า (being) การมีส่วนร่วมกับสังคมที่พำนักในปัจจุบัน (belonging) และการนำเสนอตัวตนที่ต้องการเป็นในอนาคต (becoming) กระบวนการดังกล่าวทำให้ประสบการณ์บาดแผลและสภาวะพลัดถิ่นของผู้เล่าได้รับการเยียวยา นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่านักเขียนสตรีพลัดถิ่นทั้งสองนำเสนอสหรัฐอเมริกาในฐานะดินแดนแห่งอิสรภาพที่ทำให้การประกอบสร้างอัตลักษณ์และนิยามตัวตนของผู้แปรพักตร์ชาวเกาหลีเหนือหลุดออกจากกรอบชาติพันธุ์และแนวคิดชาตินิยมไปสู่การนิยามตนเองในฐานะพลเมืองโลกแทน
