Health Information Seeking among Employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited: A Case Study of Wiharndaeng Unit, Saraburi Province

Abstract
This research aimed to study; (1) the status of health information seeking among employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited, (2) compare health information seeking among employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited classified by gender and work group, and (3) the problems in health information seeking among employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited. The population used in the research was 464 employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited, Wiharndaeng Unit, Saraburi Province. A total of 464 questionnaires were returned, representing a 100 percent response rate. The data collection period was between September and October 2023. The data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, T-tests and One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research results found that; (1) the overall average of health information seeking status of the employees of the Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited was at a low level, except for psychology, which was at a moderate level, (2) the health information seeking status of these employees when classified by gender and work group did not differ significantly at the .05 level, and (3) the problems in seeking health information of these employees were at a moderate level, overall, except for 2 aspects that were at a low level, namely, personal problems and obstacles, and personal information sources
