บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันของการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลประเภทผลงานวิชาการ ในระบบคลังสารสนเทศดิจิทัลมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และ 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์กระบวนการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลประเภทผลงานวิชาการในระบบคลังสารสนเทศดิจิทัลมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญคือ กลุ่มผู้บริหารและกลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัติงานที่มีหน้าที่และความรู้ความเชี่ยวชาญในกระบวนการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลประเภทผลงานวิชาการบนระบบคลังสารสนเทศดิจิทัล จำนวน 15 คน ใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหาเพื่อให้ได้ข้อค้นพบตามวัตถุประสงค์ ผลการศึกษาด้านการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลประเภทผลงานวิชาการมีดังนี้ 1) ด้านโครงสร้างของหน่วยงาน มอบหมายให้ฝ่ายจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศโดยงานพัฒนาและจัดระบบทรัพยากรสารสนเทศและงานพัฒนาดิจิทัลคอลเล็กชันดำเนินการเกี่ยวกับการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัล 2) ด้านนโยบายและแผนกลยุทธ์ มีแผนการดำเนินงานสอดคล้องกับนโยบาย วิสัยทัศน์และพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัย มีการกำหนดแผนกลยุทธ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องในระดับหน่วยงาน 3) ด้านงบประมาณ มีการจัดสรรงบประมาณเพื่อสนับสนุนด้านทรัพยากรสารสนเทศและการพัฒนาบุคลากร 4) ด้านบุคลากร จัดสรรบุคลากรทั้งที่เป็นบรรณารักษ์และเจ้าหน้าที่สังกัดฝ่ายจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ ประกอบด้วยงานพัฒนาและจัดระบบทรัพยากรสารสนเทศและงานพัฒนาดิจิทัลคอลเล็กชัน และผลการวิเคราะห์ด้านกระบวนการจัดการพบว่าสำนักหอสมุดมีการดำเนินงานด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลประเภทผลงานวิชาการ โดยควรนำนโยบายการบริหารจัดการที่กำหนดมาปรับใช้ เพื่อการบริหารทรัพยากรสารสนเทศดิจิทัลของสำนักหอสมุดให้สามารถดำเนินงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพตั้งแต่การวางแผนการดำเนินงาน การจัดหาและการรวบรวม การวิเคราะห์และการจัดระบบ การจัดเก็บและการค้นคืน การให้บริการ และการสงวนรักษา
