(Psychosocial Factors Related to the Working Behavior with Kalayamamitra of Teachers under Pathumthani Secondary Education Service Area)
Abstract
The purposes of this comparative correlational research were to 1) study the interaction effect between psychological and social factors related to working behavior with Kalayamamitra of teachers and 2) to study the predictive power on working behavior with Kalayamamitra of teachers on psychological, social factors and psychological states. This research samples consisted of 470 teachers who work under Pathumthani Secondary Education Service Area from multi - stage sampling techniques. The research consisted of 9 instruments, which were in the form of summated rating scales. The reliability with alpha coefficients was between .71 - .93. The data were analyzed by Two-Way ANOVA and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The research findings were as follows: 1) there were no interactions between social supporting and future orientation – self control on the total working behaviors with Kalayamamitra but found positive interaction on the two sub-working behaviors with Kalayamamitra, i.e. the attraction and protecting; 2) there were interactions between social supporting and the four paths of accomplishment in Buddhism or Iddhipada on the total working behaviors with Kalayamamitra and on one sub-working behavior with Kalayamamitra; 3)there were positive interactions between work socialization and future orientation and self-control on the total working behaviors with Kalayamamitra and in three sub-working behaviors with Kalayamamitra, i.e. the attraction good-relation and protecting; 4) there were no interactions between work socialization and Iddhipada on the total working behaviors with Kalayamamitra; 5) the result from the Enter-Multiple Regression Analysis found that in the overall group, 7 independent factors predicted the working behaviors with Kalayamamitra at a variance of 56%; and 6) the important predictors were Iddhipada and teacher spirituality.
