(Promoting Knowledge Sharing Behavior of Educational Quality Assurance Officers in Srinakharinwirot University)
Abstract
The purpose of this mixed method research were 1) to study knowledge sharing behavior; 2) to study factors related to knowledge sharing behavior; and 3) to find guiding principles to promote knowledge sharing behavior of educational quality assurance officers in Srinakharinwirot University (SWU), Bangkok. Data were collected by questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions. The sample consisted of 262 educational quality assurance officers from 33 units of SWU and the results were as follows: 1) Explicit and Tactic knowledge sharing behavior were at a high level. 2) All of social and psychological factors were positively correlated to explicit and tactic knowledge sharing behavior. Findings showed that explicit knowledge sharing behavior had the highest correlation with ability of work , followed by information technology and achievement motivation respectively. Moreover, explicit knowledge sharing behavior had the highest correlation with ability of work, followed by achievement motivation and organization atmosphere respectively. 3) The results of this research could be used to develop and promote knowledge sharing behavior of educational quality assurance officers in SWU.
