Advice – Giving Strategies Used by Life Coach through Online Social Media and Audiences’ Attitudes: A Case Study of Thitinart Na Pattalung

Abstract
This article is studies advice - giving strategies used by life coach through online social media of Thitinart Na Pattalung. This qualitative research collects data from facebook live videos on facebook page “Khem Tid Cheevit Thitinart Na Pattalung” in the playlist named Kru Oi Facebook Live. The data were collected from the videos with the highest likes and views, starting from January 2017 to December 2019. There are totally 12 videos.
The results revealed a multitude of advice-giving strategies used by life coach through online social media of Thitinart Na Pattalung. In total, 15 strategies were identified: asking question, using command, negation, depicting scenarios, using imagery, persuasion, referring, repetition of words and phrase, conclusion and using positive words.
