Electronic Book (E - Book) Subject : Strength of Materials (30100 - 0105) for Vocational Certificate Level Students in the Automotive Department

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an electronic book (E - Book) on the subject of material strength (30100 - 0105). To compare the academic results before and after studying using the electronic book (E - Book) on the subject Strength of Materials (30100 - 0105). To study the satisfaction of 1st year Higher Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate) students, groups 1, 2 and 3, in the field of mechanical technology. Nakhonpathom Technical College has an electronic book (E - Book) on the subject of strength of materials (30100 -0105). By the sample group used in the research Be a 1st year Higher Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate) student, Groups 1, 2, and 3. Mechanical Technology Major Nakhonpathom Technical College There are 27 people registered for the Materials Strength course in the 1st semester of the 2023 academic year with a joint class schedule. By means of Purposive Random Sampling. Research tools include Electronic book (E - Book) subject strength of materials (30100 - 0105) and user manual, Achievement test, Satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis used statistics: percentage, mean, standard deviation. And t - test statistics. The research results found that 1) Results of the creation of the quality of the electronic book (E - Book) on the subject of strength of materials (30100 - 0105). The experts in the content and presentation of the lessons had a mean of 4.36 and a standard deviation of 0.61. In conclusion, it is at a very good quality level. The media production aspect of electronic books has a mean of 4.23 and a standard deviation of 0.52. In conclusion, it is at a very good quality level. 2) Academic achievement of students who study from electronic books (E - Book) in the subject Strength of Materials has academic achievement after studying higher than before studying with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. 3) Student satisfaction with the electronic book (E - Book) in the subject Strength of Materials (30100 - 0105) is at the highest level.
