Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Student Support System Operations Under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Area 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research aimed 1) to study the effectiveness of the student support system, 2) to study the factors affecting the effectiveness of the student support system, and 3) to study the factors affecting the effectiveness of the student support system of primary schools under Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The quantitative methodology was employed. The sample consisted of school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed to calculate the frequency, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results showed that; 1) The effectiveness of the student support system, as a whole, was at the highest level. The aspect with the highest average was the participation of all network partners involved and the success of the operation, 2) Factors affecting the effectiveness of the student support system operations, as a whole, was at the highest level. The highest average was teacher advisor, 3) Factors related to working groups, teachers, support from agencies and management, there was a mutual influence on factors affecting the effectiveness of the student support system operation had a statistical significance at the .01 level. The factors that had the greatest influence were teachers, followed by support from agencies, working groups, and administrators, respectively. The multiple correlation coefficient between these factors and the effectiveness of the student support system operation of schools was .791. And these factors accounted for 62.6 percent of the variance in the effectiveness of the student support system implementation.
