The development of an online teaching pattern using self-directed learning for students of Kanchanabhishek institute of medical and public health technology

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the online teaching model of Kanchanaphisek College of Medical Technology and Public Health. 2) to develop an online teaching model with self-directed learning and 3) to assess the learning outcomes of students from using an online teaching model with self-directed learning on computer graphic design for presentations. The research sample consisted of the first group, which consisted of 35 administrators and faculty members of each department, obtained by purposive selection. The second group consisted of 266 second-year students in the academic year 2021, obtained by multistage random sampling The research instruments consisted of 1) the online teaching style questionnaire of the administrators and the faculty members 2) the student self-directed questionnaire 3) the learning management plan on computer graphic design for presentations. 4) learning evaluation form. The results of the research can be summarized as follows.
1. The online teaching and learning management model based on the concept of ADDIE Model development as a whole was at a high level. Most of the students used online communication channels, namely Google Meet, Line Application, Google Classroom, Google Forms, including searching for information in the study to find more learning resources from Google, and the overall of the students' self-directed learning ability was at a high level.
2. The overall quality assessment of the learning management plan was at a high level.
3. The learning outcomes of second-year students in the academic year 2021 from using the online teaching model with self-directed learning passed the criteria and was higher than the specified criteria.
