Abstract

This research article objective 1) to study ideas and views of Thai scholars according to Buddhist economics principles, 2) to study methods and practices of Thai scholars according to Buddhist economics principles, and 3) to analyze Buddhist principles of economics in Thai society. It is a study by using qualitative research which is a study by using documentary research by collecting data by removing articles, textbooks, publications from books, textbooks, research reports. Academic articles and various documents, etc. from Buddhist economists in Thailand Content analysis and data synthesis. The research results were found that:

  1. Concept and view of Buddhist principles Relying on the principle of seclusion and life in Buddhism. If everyone knows enough to live a life worthy of their status Will not cause robbery, killing, and stealing robbery of others. Problems of persecution will be less. Society will be peaceful. Because the economy is very important Not only in the sense that the right life is one of the eight gods. Consumption or economic readiness is therefore not a destination. It is an economic system that makes us coexist with resources, coexist with nature in a speechless way. It is a new approach to understanding economics. Apply logical inference methods in economics.
  2. The Methods and guidelines for implementation of Buddhist principles. Applied to the sufficiency economy philosophy which is used as a conceptual framework and direction for the development of the Thai macroeconomic system. To aim for balanced, sustainable and immune development. For well-being Aiming for a sustainable happy society Also known as "Green Society", the creation of civilization, methods for Buddhists. Led to the establishment of the Sajja Somsap Group. The application of Buddhist economics to various fields of economics by giving concrete examples.
  3. The Principles of Buddhist Economics in Thai Society Buddhist economics. It is the right tool to deal with the problems that we face in the present. This analysis tool is only needed to make people aware of the facts that are based on natural laws. Is the absence of identity. If this idea has been achieved Understand clearly Human life will be viewed from a different perspective than it is a consumer. What means most in life is not consumption. Proper consumption Will does not cause the destruction of natural resources and the environment.
