Factors Affecting Personnel's Life Quality in Private Higher Education Institutions

This research aimed to examine the factors affecting life quality and analyze the path affecting personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions. The research methodology included the sample group of the research, that is, 400 personnel working in private higher education institutions by using the simple random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire and the statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and path analysis. The research results showed that the overall opinion of the personnel on the level of factors affecting personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions was at the high level. The path analysis showed that personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions was at the high level and the overall path model of factors affecting personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions was consistent with the empirical data (x2 =1.930, df = 1, x2/df = 1.930, P-value = 0.165,CFI =0.999, TLI = 0.991, RMSEA= 0.013, RMR = 0.02). Overall, personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions are most influenced by financial management behaviors (0.700), followed by financial planning behaviors (0.390) and financial planning behaviors (0.386), respectively.
The research concluded that there were three factors positively affecting personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions, that is, attitudes towards financial management, financial management behaviors, and financial planning behaviors, which were the variables of the path model explaining 67% of the variance of personnel’s life quality in private higher education institutions.
