A MODEL OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO THE THREEFOLD TRAINING FOR STUDENTS IN SCHOOLS UNDER BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) to study the problem of learning management of students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan’s Administration; (2) to develop a learning management model according to the threefold training (Tri-Sikkha) principles for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan’s Administration; and (3) to propose a model of learning management according to the threefold training principles of students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan’s Administration. The research results were found as follows;

1. The problems of learning management for students were; On the learner: students with special needs had slow ability in learning, needing more time to explain in class, Subject’s content: lack of knowledge and understanding for designing/adapting the course to suit each individual’s disabilities, Tools and equipment: media, space, building and facilities were inadequate for different types of special needs, Environment and learning atmosphere: classroom arrangements were clean and tidy. In addition, the provision of light settings in the classrooms were in accordance with standards, Interaction between students and in-class psychological atmosphere: learners might attend the sessions without having breakfast to class And on the teacher side: teachers might have pressure from higher administrative levels or from personal concerns such as economic or family constraints.
2. The development of the model of Learning Management for schools under Bangkok Metropolitan’s administration. In details, the highest level was on usefulness, followed by appropriateness, accuracy, and feasibility respectively.

3.The model of learning management according to the threefold training principles of students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan’s Administration consisted of 5 components: 1) the principle of learning management according to the threefold principles 2) the objectives of the learning management according to the threefold principles 3) the model of the student's learning management according to the threefold principles 4) the implementation of the model and 5) Achievement condition.
