FACTORS INFLUENCING TRAVEL DECISION IN THE PROVINCE OF RAYONG’S KHAO LAEM YA-MU KO SAMET NATIONAL PARK

Abstract

Tourism is travel for relaxation, knowledge acquisition, business, and temporary travel. A coastal national park with inland islands is called Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park in the province of Rayong. The management is unwelcoming, there is not enough staff to provide services and conveniences, and the tent area is not organized in a systematic way, all of which have an impact on tourism to the national park. The objectives of this study are to: 1) examine the variables that influence travelers' choices to visit Rayong Province's Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park, and 2) contrast viewpoints on the elements that influence the choice to visit Khao Laem Ya National Park. - Koh Samet, Rayong Province ranked according to specific criteria

A questionnaire was employed by the researcher to gather information from 400 Thai tourists who visited the Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park in the province of Rayong. The research employed frequency, percentage, mean, and deviation statistics. The T-test value, standard deviation, and F-test value.

The research results showed that 1) Tourists perceived factors influencing their decision to visit Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park Rayong Province as a whole as being at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was discovered that it affected decision making at a high level in 4 aspects, namely the goals of tourism, safety, tourist attractions, and transportation, respectively. for gathering data from many sources It has a moderate impact on the decision to travel, and 2) travelers of different sexes, ages, educational backgrounds, and jobs have differing views on the variables that influence this choice. However, there were no differences in thoughts regarding marital status, average monthly income, or place of residence.
