This research aimed to study the behavior and needs of people in donating money, the perception towards the electronic donation system (e-Donation). The study covered usage, satisfaction, and attitude, as well as problems and obstacles regarding the e-Donation system. There are 3 channels in donating money which are QR Code scanning, donation at donation units via representatives, and money transfer. The sample group consisted of 382 people who had and had not donated money in Thailand. A questionnaire was used to collect personal information and donation behavior. Knowledge and understanding, opinions, feedback from users of the e-Donation system are also explored. The results of the study found that only 36.1 percent of the sample group knew about the e-Donation system, which was learned from donation units. Of the sample group that knew about the e-Donation system, an average of 34.4 percent had knowledge and understanding of the system. However, there were still not many people who had donated money through this system, most of which was due to being accustomed to traditional donations and donation boxes. There were still 14.6 percent of the sample group who had donated money who wanted to receive paper receipts because peace of mind that evidence of donations and tax deductions are provided. The problems found through the e-Donation system include concerns that the donations would not be in line with the objectives, not being able to find donation history information in the Revenue Department system, or delay data entry into the system. However, the level of satisfaction and attitudes towards the e-Donation system in various aspects are at a high level because most are satisfied with the convenience and accuracy of the information, including saving time in donating. As for the sample group that did not know about the e-Donation system before, when they learned about the system, they were interested in donating money through this system at 67.5 percent because they believed the system would help reduce fraud and embezzlement. Therefore, there should be more promotion about the e-Donation system. Further, it is important to improve the e-Donation system to be more efficient and in line with the needs of taxpayers.
