Perceptions and Experiences affecting Safety and Occupational Health Behavior of the Employees of the Government Housing Bank (Head Office)

Abstract
The study aims to study the level of perceptions, safety and occupational health experience, safety and occupational health behavior of employees of the Government Housing Bank, Head office, and analyze the perceptions, safety and occupational health experiences that affects safety and occupational health behaviors of the employees. The sample group used in this study was 345 employees of the Government Housing Bank, Head office. The data was collected using a questionnaire and analyze the data to test hypotheses using inferential statistics including T-test, Pearson's correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results of the study have found that the employees who have experiences in safety and occupational health are different have a safety and occupational health behaviors are different. The experience of accident and receiving a training on safety and occupational health are related to safety behavior of the employees, while the experience of occupational illness is related to occupational health behavior of the employees. The perceptions of safety and occupational health are affected on safety and occupational health behaviors of the employees by statistically significant at 0.05
