THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF SOLFEGGIO IN MUSIC EDUCATION

Abstract
In recent years, the development direction of solfeggio is more and more inclined to the combination of inheritance and innovation. Solfeggio has received increasing attention in the field of music education. In the interaction with other disciplines, solfeggio has been further deepened and popularized in music teaching at all levels. Solfeggio is one of the two main contents in the solfeggio ear training course. Its main tasks are: to cultivate comprehensive and correct reading ability, pitch and rhythm sense, certain expression and feeling ability of music, and to contact different styles of music through solfeggio practice. This article presented (1) the basic theory of solfeggio; (2) the important role of solfeggio in music education; (3) the significance of solfeggio ear training teaching in college music education.
