Marginal Politics, Thai Diaspora Politics (in Thai)

Abstract

This article plays significant attention on politics and the political of Thai diasporas. Thai diasporas in this paper are those who have been lived in and came from Tenasserim division of Myanmar. In fact, Thai diasporas in this paper are southern Thai. Some of them re-immigrated to Thai society a long time ago, but could not gain rights of Thai citizenship. Then, they are Thai diasporas in Thai society.

For gaining Thai citizenship, Thai diasporas have tried to create their voices through public activities since 2002. And by the end of 2011, to change their voices to be language, Thai diasporas conducted a dhamma yatra (Walking for Justice) from Dan Sing Khon (Prachuap Khiri Khan province) to the front of Thai Parliamentary. Dhamma Yatra or theatre of tragedy of Thai diasporas, about 300 participants, started at 13 January, 2011 and ended in 28 January, 2011, but gained popular attentions from both Thai state and in the end Dhamma Yatra of Thai diasporas lead to the manipulation of Thai nationality act to include Thai diaspora as Thai.

การเมืองชายขอบ การเมืองไทยพลัดถิ่น

บทความนี้ให้ความสำคัญกับการเมือง และความเป็นการเมืองของไทยพลัดถิ่น โดยไทย พลัดถิ่นที่กล่าวถึงคือกลุ่มคนไทยที่อาศัยและมาจากมณฑลตะนาวศรีของพม่า แม้จะเข้ามา อาศัยอยู่ในสังคมไทย แต่คนไทยกลุ่มนี้ก็ยังเป็น ไทยพลัดถิ่น เพราะไม่ได้รับสิทธิการเป็นพลเมือง ไทย

การไม่ได้เป็นพลเมืองไทย ไทยพลัดถิ่น จึงพยายามสร้างเสียงให้กับตนเองผ่านกิจกรรม สาธารณะต่างๆ นับตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2545 เป็นต้น มาและในต้นปี พ.ศ. 2554 ไทยพลัดถิ่นได้จัด ขบวนการการแปรเปลี่ยนเสียงไทยพลัดถิ่นให้ เป็นภาษา โดยปรากฏออกมาในรูปของยุติธรรม ยาตราหรือการเดินเพื่อแสวงหาความยุติธรรม ด้วยการเดินเท้าของพลพรรคประมาณ 300 คน จากด่านสิงขรถึงหน้ารัฐสภา ยุติธรรมยาตราของไทยพลัดถิ่นเริ่มในวัน ที่ 13 มกราคม 2554 และสิ้นสุดลงในวันที่ 28 มกราคม 2554 โดย ยุติธรรมยาตราหรือ theatre of tragedy ของไทยพลัดถิ่นสามารถ เรียกร้องความสนใจจากทั้งภาครัฐและสาธารณชน และไทยพลัดถิ่น สามารถผลักดันข้อเรียกร้องของตนเองไปบรรลุเป้าหมาย คือการแก้ไข พ.ร.บ. สัญชาติเพื่อคืนสัญชาติไทยให้กับไทยพลัดถิ่น
