     Asia Social Issues (ASI) serves as a scholarly platform committed to multidisciplinary social science research.           Periodically published on a bimonthly basis, ASI provides researchers with a distinctive opportunity to disseminate their work without the financial burden of submission fees or Article Processing Charges (APC). The journal's double-blind review procedure assures a thorough and fair evaluation process. Article Submission Guidelines:
          Our editorial board upholds high standards to ensure the quality and thoroughness of submissions to Asia Social Issues. Please familiarize yourself with the criteria for different article types.

          1. Research Article:
          Length: Research articles should not exceed 7,000 words, meticulously covering essential segments, including abstract, introduction, literature review, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.

          Origin: These articles should emanate from individual or collaborative research studies spanning diverse academic fields associated with social issues in Asia.

          Adherence: Authors are obligated to adhere to specific guidelines provided by Asia Social Issues, encompassing article length, formatting intricacies, and the peer review process. Failure to comply may result in rejection or necessitate a revision.

          2. Review Article:
          Length: Review articles, offering insightful analyses of current trends and proposing future directions, may exhibit variance in length, typically around 8,000 words.

          Flexibility: Given our expansive focus on a diverse array of social issues across Asia, guidelines for review articles are somewhat adaptable to accommodate comprehensive coverage of intricate topics.

Publication Fee:
          There is No Fee or Charge in any stage of publication process.

          Please adhere strictly to the APA 6th edition standards for references. Consult "A guide to using the APA 6th referencing style" for illustrative examples.

Asia Social Issues maintains a robust publication schedule, releasing six issues annually since 2021, with each edition corresponding to specific months:

Journal History:
          Asia Social Issues (ASI), formerly known as the Walailak Journal of Social Science (WJSS), is a respected academic publication affiliated with Walailak University. Established in 2007 and initially published in Thai, the journal transitioned to an online platform in 2017, strategically aiming to enhance the academic standing of Thai scholars. In 2020, ASI made the switch to English-language publishing and extended an invitation to scholars worldwide to join its editorial boards. With a focus on addressing pertinent social issues in the Asian context, ASI increased its publication cycle to six issues per year in 2021. The surge in international submissions in 2022 solidified ASI's global reputation as a highly regarded journal. The 2023 rebranding as Asia Social Issues underscored the journal's commitment to research-driven and analytical perspectives within the field of Asian social sciences. Since 2023, each ASI issue showcases eight papers, further reinforcing its academic standing.
