Abstract

          The objective of “Online News Culture on Post Today Facebook Fanpage through the Case Study of Por Tridsadee Sahawong’s Illness” is to study Post Today’s News Production Process and Social Responsibility. This study is Qualitative Research. Content analysis was used based on 104 news of Por Tridsadee Sahawong’s Illness since 10 November 2015 to 31 January 2016 by using Coding Sheet.

           The result shows that Online News Culture has changed. Most of Post Today’s sources come from Social Network. There is no attending a range of different circumstances. The element of most news stories is Prominence and Recentness. Content that is using the most is the photo and a text story. There is only one video clip.

          For Social Responsibility, Post Today News Presentation is Objective Balanced and Fairness but there is some news that includes personal opinions about giving consolation to Por Tridsadee’s family. News headline and content is in the same direction. Source is also revealed completely.
