บทคัดย่อ
บทความนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสานเพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับยุคสมัยปัจจุบัน โดยการสืบค้นข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับศิลปหัตถกรรมพื้นบ้านในด้านความหมาย ลักษณะเฉพาะและคุณค่า แนวคิดทางการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่เกี่ยวข้อง แนวโน้มของผู้บริโภคในปัจจุบันและรูปแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสานที่มีการนำเสนอในช่วง 5 ปีหลังคือช่วงพ.ศ.2555–พ.ศ.2560 นำมาวิเคราะห์จำแนกและเปรียบเทียบความสัมพันธ์และนำเสนอเป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสาน ซึ่งพบว่าความหลากหลายของกลุ่มเป้าหมายและสื่อต่างๆทำให้สามารถนำเสนอการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมจักสานได้ในหลายรูปแบบคือ 1) การนำเสนอในเชิงการอนุรักษ์ศิลปหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสาน 2) การนำเสนอในเชิงการสืบสานงานศิลปหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสาน 3) การนำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์ที่นำภูมิปัญญามาพัฒนาสร้างสรรค์เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ในรูปแบบใหม่ 4) การนำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ทำการประยุกต์ เรียบเรียงและสร้างใหม่
