Earth Art and Nature Imagery in Pin Sasao’s Green Poetry

Abstract
This paper aims at studying the relationship between earth art and nature imagery in Kaweepalokasilpa: nuengphansabonphuphasaksit (Wild Poet & Earth Art: One Rainy Season on the Holy Mountain), a modern poetry by Pin Sasao. It is
found that the nature is represented as an origin of beings, an artist’s ecstasy, and an artistic inspiration. The understanding of nature leads to the truth and philosophy of human life. Illustrating connotations and framing poetic interpretations, the author
created his earth art by natural materials, photography, and imagery. Kaweepalokasilpa : nuengphansabonphuphasaksit could be considered as “green poetry”. Also through his unique poetic devices, the author conveys his worldviews on nature.
