The Design and Creativity of Jewelry Inspired by Hmong Embroidery Pattern

Abstract

          The purposes of this study were (1) to study the pattern of Hmong embroidery pattern; 2) to study the design of jewelry from Hmong embroidery fabric; and, 3) to make jewelry from Hmong embroidery fabric by using the Hmong embroidery technique and enamal coloring. The research instruments were a set of jewelry which included the necklace, ring, earrings and bracelet which had been inspired by the pattern of Hmong embroidery fabric, and, the quality assessment form. The population were 9 experts. The result showed that in overall the quality of the jewelry inspired by Hmong embroidery pattern were at the high level.
