บทวิเคราะห์แนวโน้มการศึกษามิติทางสังคมของการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ว่าด้วย ภววิทยา ญาณวิทยา และความเป็นธรรม

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีจุดประสงค์ในการสำรวจและวิพากษ์แนวโน้มการศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศจากสาขาวิชาทางสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษย์ศาสตร์นับตั้งแต่ปี 2000 โดยพบว่าแนวโน้มการศึกษาแบ่งเป็น 3 ทิศทางได้แก่ ภววิทยา ญาณวิทยา และความเป็นธรรม ในแง่ของภววิทยา (อากาศคืออะไร) เป็นการศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอากาศกับสังคมวัฒนธรรม ทำให้เข้าใจว่า ในขณะหนึ่ง ภูมิอากาศ คือผู้กระทำของดาวเคราะห์ที่ไม่สามารถปกครองได้ แต่ในอีกขณะหนึ่งสิ่งสร้างทางสังคมที่มาก-กว่า-ภูมิอากาศ ธรรมชาติของภูมิอากาศคือการดำรงอยู่แบบพหุสถานะ พหุลักษณะและพหุระดับพื้นที่ ในแง่ของญาณวิทยา (เข้าใจอากาศด้วยวิธีใด) นักคิดกลุ่มนี้สนใจที่ปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้ สถาบันและนโยบาย ที่นำมาสู่การปกครองภูมิอากาศในระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงการศึกษากระบวนการผลิตสร้างความรู้ภูมิอากาศ ที่นับรวมและกีดกันความรู้บางประเภท ในแง่ของความเป็นธรรม (ใครได้หรือเสียผลกระโยชน์จากการจัดการอากาศ) เป็นการศึกษาความเป็นธรรมของแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหา เช่น ใครถูกทำให้เปราะบางมากขึ้นจากแนวทางลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกและการปรับตัว พร้อมกับพิจารณากระบวนการทุนนิยมและอาณานิคมที่อยู่เบื้องหลังการสะสมทุน ในส่วนสุดท้ายของบทความวิพากษ์ถึงข้อความเป็นไปได้ ข้อจำกัดและแนวโน้มการศึกษาในช่วงถัดไป
