Model of Desirable Householding Accordance with Buddhist Principles in Ubon Rajthani Province

Abstract

        This research paper aims were 1) to study state of house holding in ubolratchathani province 2) to study Buddhist  doctrines concerned with the house holding and 3) to present the model of desirable householding Accordance with Buddhist doctrines of people in  Ubol Ratchathani areas.
        This research was qualitative research. The target group were the leaders of communities in Ubolratchathani municipality and Khamyai sub-district total 25 persons. The tools were the in-depth interview form and focus group discussion. Data the house holding of people in the community analyzed by descriptive method.
        The results of study were found that there were 4 house holding problems i.e. 1) sexual misconduct or adultery 2) Morale misconducts 3) Poor 4) no service relative Buddhist doctrines concerned with householding were:– Sacca, Sammasila Samapaññã Utthãnasampadã and Pacchimmadisã.
        The model of desirable householding based on Buddhist doctrines have four models i.e.
        1) monogamy which has sincerity and truthful speech
        2) the model of having precepts and wisdom were equal to each others
        3) the model of Utthanasampada: husband and wife have to work hard for earning and buying some food staff  for family members.
        4) the model of Pacchimadisã:   the gap between husband and wife is closed with their relatives by giving matterials, sweetly spoken, public service and sharing happiness and suffering cosistently
