The Development of Learning Model for enhancing essential Life Skills for Lower secondary School Students.

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study need in enhancing life skills for lower secondary school student 2) to synthesis the factors of life skill for lower secondary school students 3) to create the learning model for enhancing life skills for lower secondary school students and 4) to evaluate of the learning model for enhancing life skill. The sample group used in the study was the lower secondary school students. The research instruments were a questionnaire, a learning model for enhancing life skill, and a life skill test. Data were analyzed with percent, average, standard deviation, t-test and Content analysis. Research findings were as follows: 1. the need in enhancing life skills for lower secondary school students was at a high level. 2. The components of life skills for lower secondary school students comprised three factors: (1) that Learning innovation skill (2) The technology using skill and (3) The livelihood skill. 3. The learning model for enhancing life skill for lower secondary school students included 4 components which were 1) principles 2) objectives 3) learning process, it had four activity management steps as follows: the first step was the encouragement of interest in life skill; the second step was the perception of valuing; the third step was the Experiencing; and the fourth step was the evaluation, and 4) evaluation. 4. The learning model for enhancing life skill for lower secondary school students was efficient at 77.52/79.00, higher than criterion 75/75. The comparing results of the study group’s life skill levels by using relative growth score revealed that they were in a high change score. The evaluation of learning model showed that the life skills of lower secondary school students after learning were higher than before learning significantly different at .05
