Student Support System

Abstract

          Student support system aimed for student development enhancing the quality in body, mind, intelligence, knowledge, capability, also moral and ethical, and promoting happiness in life as expected by society through educational process. Besides promoting student support, prevention and problem solving to make positive impact, negative effects are present such as economic problem, widespread drug substance, various competition, family problem. These can cause suffering, anxiety, stress, inappropriate adjustment and affect mental and physical wellbeing of all stakeholders. Therefore the success in achieving targeted student development through operation in student care requires cooperation from every teachers. Systematic work process are needed, it included performance result with some technique or tool for student support, especially for students in vulnerable group, direct and indirect cooperation is needed from teachers, students, parents, community, and society. This can lead to a good society for living, and the youth are great for sustainable society
          The 7S IT Model process for student support system consists of 1. Process planning (S1) Schedule Innovation Technology 2. Familiarizing with students (S2) Survey Innovation Technology 3. Student screening (S3) Section Innovation Technology 4. Student support (S4) Support Innovation Technology 5. Preventing and solving problem (S5) Save Innovation Technology 6. Referring (S6) Send Innovation Technology 7. Summarizing (S7) Summary Innovation Technology.
          The management of student support system consists of 1. Plan is the most important beginning step for the system 2. Do is the collective action from every stakeholders in the process 3. Check is the self-evaluation and mutual evaluation 4. Act is the improvement from the evaluation result for development.
