The Online Teaching and Learning Administration According to the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in the Northeast

Abstract

          The aims of this research were: 1) to study the condition of the online teaching and learning administration based on the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas (Path of Achievement) of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) in the northeast; 2)to propose guidelines for the online teaching and learning administration based on the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of MCU in the northeast. This study was carried out employing mixed-method research. The sample group used in this research was 212 administrators, teachers, and staff. The tools used to collect data were a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.98 and an interview form. The data were statistically analyzed by finding Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation.
          The research results were as follows: 
          1) The condition of the online teaching and learning administration based on the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of MCU in the northeast was statistically rated at a high level of practice (x = 4.23). When classified by aspect, the aspect with the highest level of practice was the teaching and learning management system (x = 4.29), followed by ‘the personnel aspect (x = 4.28), while the least practical level was the technology-based teaching and learning support (x =   4.11).
          2) The guidelines for the online teaching and learning administration based on the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of MCU in the northeast was that the administrators should have a policy to encourage teachers to use a variety of teaching and learning approaches as well as various evaluations that meet the actual conditions of the learners. The university should provide support for technological equipment and internet networks, encourage teachers to prepare lesson plans before teaching, and encourage teachers to pay attention to the benefits of using teaching materials.
