Guidelines for Developing Early Childhood Teacher Competency of Child Development Centers Under Local Admininistrative Organizations in Nong Khai Province

Abstract
The objective of this research were to 1) study the needs and necessities of developing the competence of early childhood teachers in child development centers. under the local administrative organization in Nong Khai Province 2) study the guidelines for developing early childhood teacher competency in child development centers under local administrative organizations. in Nong Khai Province The sample consisted of 217 school administrators and teachers in the Child Development Center. Data collection consisted of 2 phases. The first phase was quantitative data collection by using questionnaires with questionnaire reliability of 0.855. Data were analyzed by using frequency statistical values, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and prioritization of essential needs; Phase 2, qualitative data collection. by analyzing data from interviews with experts to find ways to develop teacher competency Analyze data with content analysis and presented by descriptive methods.
The results showed that the facts and desirable conditions of the early childhood teacher competency as a whole found that the average of the reality level is high (=3.62) The mean level of desirable condition was also at a high level (=4.44). The results of the data analysis, it was found that the realistic condition level was lower than the desirable condition level in all aspects. The need for the development of overall teacher competency It was found that the priorities of the necessary needs were as follows: 1st place was curriculum management and learning management , second was professional ethics (, and the third is Class Management
Overall, the guidelines for developing early childhood teacher competency were as follows: 1) teacher development in curriculum management and learning management. to be able to design a variety of learning 2) Encourage teachers to receive training in evaluating learning management. to be able to evaluate learning effectively 3) to develop teachers in professional ethics to see the importance of the teaching profession Maintain the reputation of the teacher profession love and faith in the profession
