The Internal Supervision of School Administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were 1) to study the internal supervision of school administrators under  the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 and 2) to compare situation of the internal supervision of school administrators under  the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 classified by size and working experience. The sample group consisted of 343 teachers of schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 using table of Taro Yamane and proportional stratified sampling by using the school size in sampling. The instruments used to collect data were 5–rating scale questionnaire with power of discrimination between 25 to 90 and reliability at 0.88. The statistics used to analyze data comprised percentage, mean, standard deviation, One-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s method.
          The research results were found that:
          1. The internal supervision of school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5, in overall, was rated at a high level.
          2. The comparison of the internal supervision of school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 classified by size and working experience of the schools was as follows:
               2.1 The internal supervision of school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 classified by size of the schools, in overall, was not different, when considered in each aspect, it was found that the situation of professional development, group working skills development, curriculum development and classroom action research was not different, the situation of teacher direct assistance was different with statistical significance at .05 level.
               2.2 The internal supervision of school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 classified by working experience, in overall and each aspect, was different with statistical significance at .05 level.
