The Relationship between the Roles of Village Health Volunteers and the Promation and Support of Don Yai Hom Municipality Mueang Nakhon Pathom District Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

          This research The objective was to study 1) to study the level of village health volunteer roles, 2) to study the level of work promotion, 3) to study the relationship between village health volunteer roles and work support, and 4) Study suggestions to increase the efficiency of village health volunteers' roles in promoting and supporting Don Yai Hom municipal work. Mueang Nakhon Pathom District Nakhon Pathom Province. The sample group consisted of 312 household representatives in Don Yai Hom Municipality aged 18 years and over, calculated from Taro Yamane's formula. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and linear multiple regression analysis by Enter method at statistical significance level .05.
          The results of the research showed that ; 1) The role level of village health volunteers Overall, it was at a high level. 2) The level of promotion and support for municipal works. Overall, it was at a high level. 3) The relationship between roles of village health volunteers and the overall municipal support had a multiple correlation coefficient of .927 (R = .927) All independent variables could explain 85.9% of the variation in dependent variables with R² = .859 and F = 231.459, indicating that the independent variables were related to support for sub-district municipality. which is statistically significant at the .01 level. and 4) Suggestions on the role of village health volunteers in promoting and supporting municipal work. It was found that PHC volunteers had to seriously go to the area to survey information about people in the area. and should have the ability to give advice on general health care can go to the public.
