The Comparison of Social Studies Religion and Culture Learning on “Economics” Among Second Grade Students between the Teaching with Nong Bai Bua the Planner Workbook set to Enhance Experience and Regular Instruction

Abstract

          The purpose of this research was to 1) construct and find efficiency of workbook set of Nong Bai Bua the Planner to meet the criteria of 80/80, 2) to compare the result between the teaching with Nong Bai Bua The Planner workbook set and regular teaching method towards “Economics” among second grade students.  The participants in this study consist of 60 second grade students from Lumpaong School in the second semester of academic year of 2022. The participants are randomly selected by using simple random sampling method and divided into two groups which are experimental group and controlled group.  The experimental group is taught by using Nong Bai Bua the Planner workbook set and regular teaching method on economics by social studies for 30 students. This study was a experimental reserch. The controlled group is taught by regular teaching method for 30 students.  The instrument used in the research were 1) Nong Bai Bua The Planner workbook set with 8 chapters 2) 8 lesson plans on social studies religion and culture learning towards economics for second grade students 3) Learning assessment by Randomized Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design plan. The data were analyzed by calculating data average, standard benchmark, and t-test independent sample.
          The research found that 1) The Nong Bai Bua workbook set about economics for grade 2 has an efficiency score of 81.42/80.11 meeting the criteria of E₁/E₂ standard which is 80/80. 2) The achievement of learning social studies about economics of second grade using workbook set Nong Bai Bua the Planner is significantly higher than the regular teaching method by .05
