Exercises for enhancing international music notation skills, color card in marching bands for Chinese students

Abstract

           This research aims to create exercises to enhance international music notation skills for Color guard in marching band To be effective according to the set criteria of 80/80 and to compare academic achievement with exercises to enhance international music notation skills for color guards in the marching band of the Faculty of Music, Bangkok Thonburi University. The sample group was 12 first-year Chinese female students, academic year 2022, in the Faculty of Music. Bangkok Thonburi University It is experimental research. They were students in the color guard position and spent 2 weeks, 5 hours per week, collecting data. Analyze and process data Statistics used include percentage values.
           The results from the experiment found that: 1) The results of determining the efficiency of the international music notation skill training for color guards in marching bands were equal to the efficiency of the skill enhancing exercise, equal to 82.5/83.5, which is higher than the specified criteria. at 80/80, it can be concluded that the exercises enhance international music notation skills for color guards in marching bands. Effective according to the set criteria 2) Results of finding achievement In the students' learning, the results were as follows: during study, the test had an average score of 54.00 or 82.5 percent, and after studying the average score was 218 or 83.5 percent, which can be concluded that the students had better results.
