Development Strategy of Paleontological Fossil Derivatives Models Under New Museology China Paleozoologicall Museum (Baoding)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Under the influence of the new museology theory, the functions of museums have become increasingly diversified. They not only undertake the task of preserving and inheriting cultural heritage, but also play the role of education, entertainment and social services. In this context, paleontological fossils are important geological heritage and evidence of biological evolution, and the development of their derivative models has become more important. It can not only broaden the social functions of museums, but also provide popular science knowledge to the public and promote related industries. economic benefits. However, due to the lack of targeted development strategies, paleontological fossil derivative models often fail to fully realize their potential and fail to meet the public's needs for science education and culture. This project is based on the reality of the homogeneity of paleontological fossil collections in natural history museums. It uses paleontological fossil derivatives as a medium and combines the new museology theory to enhance the interest of museum displays, enhance the popularity of local natural history museums, and expand their social influence[1].
