Sustainable Management Strategy for the Protection of Folk Visual Arts in Changsha City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China

Abstract

         This paper studied the survival and development status of various folk visual art forms in Changsha, Hunan Province, formulated sustainable management strategies for the protection of folk visual art in Changsha, Hunan Province, aiming at declining and endangered art forms, and studied how innovation can effectively promote the local community to create a better society, economy and environment.
        This study adopts three research methods: 1. Mixed research method, combining qualitative and quantitative, facilitates in-depth understanding of management status and problems and defects in the management process. 2. Participating in research methods. As a manager and tourist, the author went deep into various areas of Changsha, Hunan Province, conducted local investigations, found problems and solved them. 3. Establish development indicators and sustainable management strategy indicators for folk visual arts in accordance with UNESCO indicators and relevant policy requirements at the national level, Hunan Province level, Changsha City level and counties under its jurisdiction.
         The research results show as follows: 1. The status quo of folk visual art in Changsha area is graded through research, and the declining and endangered folk art needs to be protected. 2. Develop targeted sustainable management strategies to enable the innovative development of declining and endangered folk arts, increase local economic income, promote rural revitalization, maintain the richness of local culture and art, and pass on culture and emotion. 3. At the same time, it will provide reference for the protection and sustainable management of folk art and culture in other countries and regions.
