บทคัดย่อ
ฟันกรามล่างคุดซี่ที่สามถือเป็นฟันคุดที่พบบ่อยที่สุด แต่การเกิดฟันคุดลักษณะวางตัวในแนวราบมีโอกาสเกิดขึ้นน้อยเมื่อเทียบกับการเกิดฟันคุดในลักษณะอื่นๆ แม้ว่าการผ่าตัดฟันคุดจะเป็นการผ่าตัดเล็ก แต่ก็สามารถเกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนระหว่างและหลังจากการผ่าตัดได้ ดังนั้นการผ่าตัดฟันคุดต้องได้รับการประเมินทางคลินิกและการถ่ายภาพรังสีถือว่าเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการเลือกเทคนิคที่เหมาะสมเพื่อให้ได้ผลลัพธ์ของการรักษาที่ดี รายงานนี้กล่าวถึงผู้ป่วยที่ฟันกรามล่างซ้ายคุดซี่ที่สามที่วางตัวในแนวราบซึ่งได้รับการรักษาโดยการผ่าตัดนำฟันคุดออกเพื่อรักษาอาการปวดที่มีสาเหตุ โดยตรงมาจากฟันคุดซี่นี้และผลการรักษาเป็นที่น่าพอใจ
