As an important form of music education, choral music plays an important role in cultivating students' musical ability, teamwork ability and aesthetic taste. By studying the theory and practice of choral music education, it can provide more scientific and effective teaching methods and promote the development of choral music education. The theory and practice of choral music education is to cultivate students' musical literacy and choral skills, while promoting their individual and collective development. The theoretical basis of choral music education includes the knowledge of music cognition, music perception, music expression and music creation. Students should understand different musical styles and genres, learn the basic concepts and theories of music, and develop the ability to appreciate music. The core of choral music education is vocal music training, which includes vocal skills, breathing control, intonation, and vocal separation. Students need to learn the correct breathing methods and vocal techniques, and how to sing in harmony with other parts in the chorus.
