GUIDELINES FOR MANAGING AND DEVELOPMENT TOURIST THE FLOATING SKY ROAD TOURIST ATTRACTION, LOEI WANG SAI SUB-DISTRICT, PHU LUANG DISTRICT, LOEI PROVINCE

Abstract

               This research aimed to 1) study the management operations for the development of the floating sky road tourist attraction, 2) compare the opinions of tourists on the management of the development of the floating sky road tourist attraction classified by personal factors, and 3) propose management guidelines for the development of the floating sky road tourist attraction. The sample consisted of 400 tourists who visited the floating sky road. The data collection tool was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.98. The analysis was performed using basic statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics, including t-test and F-test according to the LSD method. Five shop owners and relevant government officials were interviewed using semi-structured interviews and content analysis.

               The research results found that 1) the management operations for the development of the floating sky road tourist attraction were at the highest level overall. 2) The opinions of tourists on the management of the development of the floating sky road tourist attraction classified by age and average monthly income were significantly different at a statistical level of 0.05. 3) The management guidelines for the development of the tourist attraction were to improve the existing tourist attraction to meet established standards, improve the facilities and basic utilities that can serve tourists systematically, create cleanliness, convenience, and safety, and be ready to deal with unexpected events, including the participation of the community in managing the area will be a guideline for the floating sky road tourist attraction to be sustainable and beautiful throughout every tourism season.
