Abstract
บทความนี้เป็นการนำเสนอเนื้อหาและความน่าสนใจของหนังสือ เรื่อง Future Forward - The Rise and Fall of a Thai Political Party เขียนโดย Duncan McCargo และ Anyarat Chattharakul ซึงตีพิมพ์โดย Nordic Institute of Asian Studies Press ในปี ค.ศ.2020 โดยหนังสือเล่มนี้แบ่งเนื้อหาออกเป็น 3 ส่วน ได้แก่ ผู้นำพรรค ผู้ลงคะแนน และพรรคการเมือง ซึ่งผู้เขียนได้ฉายภาพให้เห็นถึงพัฒนาการ ตัวแสดงที่สำคัญในพรรค เงื่อนไขทางการเมือง และการเผชิญกับความท้าทายต่างๆ ตามเส้นทางเวลาของพรรคอนาคตใหม่ นับตั้งแต่การเปิดตัวคณะผู้ก่อตั้งพรรคเมื่อวันที่ 15 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2561 การยุบพรรคตามคำสั่งศาลรัฐธรรมนูญเมื่อวันที่ 21 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.2563 ไปจนถึงการชุมนุมประท้วงของเยาวชนและนักกิจกรรมในเดือนกรกฎาคม พ.ศ.2563
