บทคัดย่อ

The objectives of the comparative correlation research were as follows: to identify the important factors for predicting social media usage behavior with an awareness of the overall dimensions and sub-dimensions of undergraduate students with different bio-social characteristics. The sample group consisted of four hundred undergraduate students were obtained using multistage sampling. The data were collected using a six-point rating scale assessment, which consisted of seven parts with alpha coefficient that ranged from between .80 to .91. The results revealed the following: internal factors, such as personal factors consisting of personality with consciousness, mental immunity, and technological skills, and external factors, including social and environmental factors consisted of having social support and being influenced by famous idols could be mutually used to predict social media usage behavior with awareness of the overall dimensions and sub-dimensions in overall groups and sub-groups based on bio-social characteristics and ranging from 7% to 55% with a statistical significance of .05
