Research Developing Guidelines for Learning Development of Student Teacher in the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University

Abstract

     The  objectives  of  this  research  aim  to  1)  study  the  problem  conditions  and  the  needs  of  research  for  student  teachers’ learning  development, Faculty  of  Education, Songkhla  Rajabhat  University, and 2)  to  present  research  development  guidelines  for  student  teachers’ learning  development, Faculty  of  Education, Songkhla  Rajabhat  University.  The  target  used in  the  research  were  1)  5th  year  Faculty  of  Education  students  enrolled  in  the  academic  year  2021  
2)  the  experts  in  focus  group, analyze  the  causes, and  formulate  an  approach.  The  tools  for  collecting  data  were  including  questionnaires, group  chat  log, data  analysis  with  average, Standard  Deviation, PNI_Modified, and  Content  Analysis.

     The  research  findings  were  as  follows.

     1.  Research  development  conditions  for  learning  development  of  student  teachers  in  terms  of  knowledge, practical  skills  and  the  attitude  aspect  were  at  a  high  level  and  the  needs  for  essential  knowledge  were  the  highest, followed  by  practical  skills, and attitude.  

     2.  Research  development  guidelines  for  student  teachers’ learning  development  were divided  into  3  areas  as  follows:

        2.1  Knowledge : The  instructors  should  conduct  teaching  that  emphasizes  a  research-based  approach  (RBL), emphasizing  practicality  and  giving  students  concrete  examples, and  create  instructional  media  for  students  to  learn  on  their  own  in  an  online  format.

        2.2  Practical  skills : The  teachers  should  provide  instruction  that  integrates  content  knowledge  and  practice  with  real  data/situation.  Selecting  the  correct  and  incorrect  research  samples  to  be  used  as  learning  samples.

        2.3  Attitude  aspect : The  teachers  and  students  clearly  create  a  system  and  calendar  for  tracking  work, and  follow  the  work  as  a  good  friend.  Continuing  and  providing  useful  feedback  for  students.
