Application of Good Governance Principles in School Administration under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area 1

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of the application of good governance principles in school administration, and 2) to compare the application of good governance principles in school administration under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area 1, classified by school size and type, the sample comprises 103 schools from the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the 2025 academic year, selected using Krejcie and Morgan's sample size table. Stratified random sampling was employed, using school size as the stratifying criterion. The research instrument used in collecting the data was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with an Index of item Objective Congruence (IOC) was 1.00 for all items. The reliability of the entire questionnaire was 0.96. Statistical analysis included percentages, means, and standard deviations. Hypothesis testing was performed using t-tests. The research findings were as follows: 1) The role of applying good governance principles in school administration under the Nakhon Ratchasima 1 Primary Educational Service Area Office, both overall and in each aspect, was at the highest level. The aspect with the highest average score was the rule of law, followed by transparency, morality, participation and cost-effectiveness respectively. The aspect with the lowest average score was accountability.
2) The comparison the application of good governance principles in school administration under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area 1, classified by school size and type, showed statistically significant differences overall and individual aspects at the 0.05 level.
