Development of Multi-level Confirmatory Factor Analysis Model of Learning and Innovation Skills Inventory for Upper-Secondary School Students

The purpose of this study was to develop multilevel confirmatory factor analysis model of learning and innovation skills. The samples consisted of 600 upper-secondary school students by multi-stage random sampling and used learning and innovation skill assessment as a research tool. The research finding were: 1) The learning and innovation skills model for upper-secondary school students consistent with good validity and reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) of .819. 2) The learning and innovation skills consistent with the empirical data and consisted of 5 factors such as Effective Communication, Technological Competency and Information Literacy, Critical Thinking, Quantitative and Scientific Reasoning, and Responsible Citizenship. The construct validity of the inventory was demonstrated by the fit measures resulted = 2.373, df = 3, /df = .791, p = .499, RMSEA = .000, CFI = 1.000, TLI = 1.000, SRMR = .008
