The effects of the token reinforcement and social reinforcement program for enhancing public mind of prathomsuksa 1 students at Watthammapirataram school bangkok

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the effects of enhancing Public mind of Prathomsuksa 1 students. 2) to compare the enhancing public mind of students before and after participated in the program. This research was the quasi experimental research which selected by purposive sampling method. The population consisted 38 student of prathomsuksa 1 at Watthammapirataram School in the second semester, year of 2017. Population participated in the group activities for 8 sessions, 60 minutes per each session. The instruments used in this research were: the token Reinforcement and social reinforcement program, the public mind test. Mean, standard deviation, Non Parametric Statistics (The Wilcoxon Matches Pairs Signed Rank Test) were utilized for analyzing data. The research results indicated that: 1) the posttest scores from enhancing public mind test of the population were higher than pretest scores at .05 level of significance. 2) the population reported that participating in the enhancing public mind program helped them to learning, understanding and recognizing the importance of having public mind, maintaining public utilities, environment, and also participating in beneficial activities to school, community and social.
