The Effects of Existential Individual Counseling Integrating with Positive Psychological Activities Affecting the Characteristics of Ideal Traits of the Royal Thai Police of Metropolitan Police Division 9 inquiry officers

The purposes of this research were to 1) compare the characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police in the experimental group and after receiving existential individual counseling integrating with positive psychological activities and 2) compare characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police, who took and don't took a existential individual counseling integrating with positive psychological activities. The samples in this study were twenty of metropolis 9 inquiry officials (sub inspector) and the sample in divide ten experiment group and control group selected by purposive sampling the characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police to volunteer experiment. The research instruments used in this study were the characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police scale with discrimination ranging from 0.28 to 0.78 and the reliability coefficient of 0.94 and individual counseling on existentialism integrated with positive psychological activities program with an index of item-objective congruence score from 0.67-1.00. The statistical analyses employed were Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed Ranks and Mann-Whitney U Test. The research results were as follows: 1) after experiment metropolis 9 inquiry officials of experiment group were the characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police significantly increased at a of .05 levels and 2) after experiment metropolis 9 inquiry officials of experiment group were more the characteristics of ideal traits of the Royal Thai Police of metropolis 9 inquiry officials of control group were significantly increased at a of .05 levels.
