The Development of Learning and Teaching Method in Subject Social studies of Critical Thinking Skill and Learning Achievement of Matayom Suksa 2 Students.

Abstract

This research for development aims to: 1) develop the learning activity model; 2) study the efficiency of the learning activity model; 3) compare the analytical thinking skills of Mathayom 2 students who study with the learning activity model; 4) compare academic achievement before and after using the learning activity model; and 5) study the satisfaction of Mathayom 2 students with the learning activity model in Social Studies course to promote analytical thinking skills and develop the academic achievement of Mathayom 2 students by setting up a one-group experimental model and test before class and after class. The sample group consisted of 46 students in Mathayom 2/9 at Buakhao School. The results of the research found that: 1) The model for organizing learning activities in the Social Studies subject that was developed is called the RLRSA Model, with the following elements: principles, objectives, content, and learning process. The teaching model was developed with 5 steps in the learning process: reviewing previous knowledge; the stage of organizing learning activities; the knowledge exchange step; the summary step; and the knowledge application; 2) The efficiency (E1/E2) of the learning activity format is 87.13/85.00, considered to be more effective than the specified criteria; 3) Students' analytical thinking skills before class and after class were significantly different at the.05 level; 4) The academic achievement of students before class and after class was significantly different at the.05 level; and 5) Satisfaction Students' satisfaction with the overall learning activity format was at the highest level.
