The Development of achievement and attitude to studying mathematics on ratio proportion and percentage by using skill exercises combined with games of Mathayomsuksa 1 students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1. to compare academic achievement in mathematics before studying and after studying by using skill exercises combined with games for Mathayom 1 students. 2. to compare attitudes towards studying subjects Mathematics after being taught by using skill exercises combined with games. The samples of this research were 36 Mathayomsuksa 1 students at Karungwittayakhom School, Ban Rai District, Uthai Thani Province . In the second semester of the academic year 2023 which were selected based on cluster random sampling. The research instruments were learning management plan on ratio proportion and percentage, mathematics achievement test, skill exercises on ratio proportion and percentage, and measuring attitudes towards learning mathematics using skill exercises combined with games. The statistical use for analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and test the hypothesis by Dependent samples t-test. The results showed that 1) Students who receive learning management by using skill exercises combined with games have academic achievement in mathematics after studying higher than before studying Statistically significant at .05 2) Students who receive learning management by using skill exercises combined with games have attitudes towards mathematics are at a high level.
